Our Fee Structure
Trying to understand how legal costs are calculated can be quite complex. At Sterling Shore Solicitors, we operate on a fixed fee basis in most cases with flexible payment options to suit you. This includes all, phone calls, email communication and office appointments. Our fees are transparent from the onset with no hidden charges, so you know exactly how much it will cost you.
In most circumstances we will accept your instructions on a fixed fee basis which will cover all of your legal fees for our services. The legal fees do not include disbursements such as Home Office fees, Immigration Health Surcharge, Court fees etc which would be paid by you directly to the appropriate organisation and/or individual. Should disbursements include VAT you will also need to pay this.
We will give you as much information as possible about how much your matter will cost or how our fees will be calculated. We can also provide an explanation of our fees at the end your case, or at any point upon your request.
The work will normally be conducted by a qualified Solicitor or an accredited caseworker.
In the event your matter does not qualify for our fixed fee agreement and attracts our hourly fee, this will be at the following rate: –
Solicitor/Partner £250.00 per hour
Trainee solicitors, paralegals, and other fee earners £150.00 per hour
