The UK Marriage Visitor Visa allows the applicant to enter the UK lawfully to register their marriage or civil partnership for a period of up to 6 months. To obtain a valid UK Marriage Visitor Visa you must satisfy the requirements set out by the Home Office in their entirety.

- You want to get married or register a civil partnership in the UK
- You want to give notice of a marriage or civil partnership in UK
- You are not planning to stay or settle in the UK after your marriage or civil partnership
To meet the requirements for a UK Marriage Visitor Visa you must be able to show that you are free to give notice of marriage and to marry or enter a civil partnership in the UK within 6 months of your arrival.
The application for a UK Marriage Visitor Visa must be made from outside of the UK.
