What you need to know

This visa has replaced the Tier 5 (Youth Mobility Scheme) visa.

This scheme is for young adults from participating countries who wish to live and work in the United Kingdom.

You can apply for a Youth Mobility Scheme visa (T5) if you:

  • Want to live and work in the UK for up to 2 years
  • Are aged 18 to 30
  • Have £2,530 in savings

You can apply for a Youth Mobility Scheme Visa (T5) if you are aged 18 to 30 and a national of the following countries:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • Hong Kong
  • Japan
  • Monaco
  • New Zealand
  • Republic of Korea
  • San Marino
  • Taiwan

You are required to have funds available in your bank account to show you can support yourself in whilst in the UK, the funds must be available for at least 28 consecutive days.
